Try the new NHS App
If you’re a patient at our practice you can now use the new NHS App, a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services on your smartphone or tablet.
You can use the NHS App to check your symptoms and get instant advice, book appointments, order repeat prescriptions and more.
If you already use SystmOnline you can continue to use it. You can use the NHS App as well.
You do not need to be already registered for online services to use the NHS App
NHS 111 can help if you have an urgent medical problem and you’re not sure what to do. You can get help online or on the phone and the service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You answer questions about your symptoms on the website, or by speaking to a fully trained adviser on the phone. To get help from NHS 111, you can:
go to 111.nhs.uk (for people aged 5 and over only)
What's happening in the foyer??
We can accommodate campaign presentations from local groups in our foyer to support and advise patients. We hope they will be able to offer guidance, advice and information relevant to our practice population.

Our receptionists are trained Patient Advisers. Patient Advisers will direct you to the most appropriate clinician to make an appointment with - this could be with a Healthcare Assistant, Practice Nurse, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, clinical Pharmacist or your GP.
They can also help you with others sources of help or advice - including the voluntary sector, who can support people with a wide range of needs. To help you, our Patient Advisers will need to ask you’re a few brief, confidential questions. By providing this information we can make sure you see the right person for your care.

MOBILE NUMBERS UPDATE
If you have a mobile telephone please ensure that the number we hold on your records is current. We are able to send you SMS messages to confirm appointments, reminders for appointments and health checks, results or if we need to contact you in an emergency. To update your number you can complete the questionnaire in the 'Online Services' (if you have registered for online services) or otherwise complete a form in the surgery.
